About Brooke & SubZero

My name is Brooke Mumma, and I am 25 years old. Although cheerleading is my biggest passion now, I didn't like it at first. I started as a gymnast, and when I was about 8 with a round off backhand spring, I decided I didn't like bars, vault, or beam, so I started cheer with my school's midget football association. From there, I cheered at Tri Town, PA Extreme, and Susquenita High School. Living with my grandparents, I couldn't travel to competitions, so I unfortunately had to quit competitive cheer in middle school. I didn't compete all-star again until I was 19 on Viper Allstars' Open Coed Level 6 (Level 7).

I started SubZero Cheerleading in May 2020. It started when I wanted to make a bow pop-out for the cheerleading team I coached for their National Competition, without paying a ridiculous amount of money. (You can see "Royalty's" crown pop-outs below) Everyone loved the way they looked, so I decided to offer bows to friends and other coaches I knew. The next thing I knew, I fulfilled 9 team orders for other teams in Pennsylvania and across the United States in 2020 alone, as well as a ton of individual orders. I am so grateful to have this business through college and have so many people support me!

I recently graduated Shippensburg University with a Bachelor's Degree in Math and a Minor in Data Science. I currently coach cheerleading at Flipping Out Tumbling, an all star gym in Mechanicsburg, PA. Coaching is my absolute passion, and I don't know what I would be doing if I wasn't teaching children my first love, cheerleading! I love every single one of my athletes with my whole heart, and they know it!!
Besides cheerleading, I love traveling, going to concerts, playing in/ watching summer volleyball tournaments, and reading!
